Advertised Summary Job Description

Seeking a Technician B to assist with experiments in the Eating Disorders Research Unit in the Department of Psychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Setting up procedures for experiments; contacting research participants by phone; assisting researchers in the collection of study related specimens; performing data entry and assisting principal investigators in additional study administration.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Experience in research setting and the ability to organize a large number of time dependent tasks.

Special Instructions

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in eating disorders preferred.
