The Role:

Chase is looking for a Strategy Manager to be part of Digital Payment Products Team. The vision of this team is to satisfy our customer’s transactional needs through secure, simple and convenient digital technologies, making digital their channel of choice.

This dynamic position will work in a highly collaborative environment with an ability to influence the future products and services that Chase offers online, mobile, via tablet and other digital platforms. The position will offer an opportunity to:

  • Take a leading role in shaping and managing the strategy of Chase Digital Payments

  • Engage and build relationships with multiple LOBs (lines of businesses, e.g., Retail Banking, Business Banking, Private Bank etc.) and other Digital Services areas (e.g., technology, PMO, user experience, operations, risk & control..etc.)

  • Provide direct input into Chase’s Digital Product Development roadmap, including the execution timelines

  • Be part of a team that launches new or first to market digital capabilities that benefit our customers

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the execution and roadmap strategy for Digital Payments in partnership with senior leaders

  • Develop and present strategic opportunitiesto further accelerate the growth of our franchise

  • Work across LOBs to build consistent approach and communication for all Payment products

  • Act as business relationship manager for the digital payments, working with various internal Chase LOBs and lead executive communication

  • Support the development of business cases for new products and product enhancements to enable prioritization and justify investments into new and existing products

  • Conduct periodic product strategy reviews with key stakeholders (plan vs. actual, key milestones/deliverables, management focus items, etc)

  • Conduct and maintain an industry assessment that provides detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices

Q ualifications:

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's/MBA degree preferred

  • 7+ years of relevant experience working in a strategy, product management or related role

  • Financial industry and Payments background is highly desirable

  • Innovative, forward thinker with strong communications skills required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story" with data

  • Strong presentation skills and ease with effective communication with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions

  • Ability to develop and communicate product development business cases using financial models

  • Passion about digital product and industry
