Crestron has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate EHS Instructor to join our team at the Crestron "Factory of the Future's" state-of-the-art training facility located in Orangeburg, New York. This is an exciting time to join Crestron as we continue to innovate our product line and expand our training course catalog. We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping others learn and a commitment to serving as a strong safety advocate.
Manage the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) training program which includes developing effective training materials and curriculum, delivering instructor led training, training record management and new employee safety training.
Collaborate with the necessary departments to adapt EHS related training programs to meet their needs.
Utilize appropriate training techniques to produce positive learning outcomes.
Coordinate with Staff to schedule classes, access presentation and other class material as needed.
Ensure program logistics run smoothly which include facilities, equipment, and classroom materials.
Actively interact with employees and leadership to promote the Environmental, Health & Safety culture.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related Science.
2+ years’ experience in the EHS field, preferred in electronics manufacturing.
Experience in curriculum design and implementation.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing).
Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations and standards a must.
Comfortable in delivering course material in all size of classes.
