The Center for Air Resources Engineering and Sciences Department at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for the position of Research Associate. This Research Associate position is available at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY to study treatment methods for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS)-contaminated groundwater as part of multiple funded projects. A highly motivated individual is sought with hands-on experience in working with sorbents and with physico-chemical processes for treatment of emerging contaminants. Experience in laboratory experimental design, experimental data analysis, advanced characterization of materials, and analytical chemistry preferred. The position will last for up to two years contingent on funding.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D and must have an advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or a closely related field to be considered.
