OEC Group is looking for an ambitious and efficient individual to join our Human Resources department as a Human Resources Coordinator and undertake a variety of HR department duties.

At OEC Group we have created an interactive training program focused on educating and engaging our new hires. You will begin training on the daily operations of your position to understand the Freight Forwarding industry. Following, you'll receive training regarding the daily activity of the recruitment team including, reviewing applications, phone screening qualified candidates, interviewing candidates and on-boarding new hires to the company, Furthermore, you will also receive the training with employee benefits programs and other assigned HR duties.

About the Position
Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and informed HR manager for any necessary and proper payroll deductions
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
Setup the open enrollment meetings or HR trainings for all locations
Reconciles benefits statements via weekly or monthly basis.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
Prepare and maintain employee reports, new-hire and time and attendance reports. Maintain and update HR reports such as Qlik/ Sales lists/ Morning Report. etc.
Confers with management and supervisors to identify job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
Recruits, interviews and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
Coordinates and participates in setting up display and working at job fairs.
Develops and maintains contacts with universities, alumni groups, and other public
Assist with Employee events coordination with internal departments and external vendors.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred but not required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor?s degree; preferred major in Human Resources, Business Administration or Industrial Organizational Psychology and six months to three years of related experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
