Centene Corporation Supervisor, Enrollment in Rego Park, New York

ProfessionalPosition Purpose: Manages the day to day operations of the Enrollment Office; provides direction and support to staff through work prioritization, participation in problem and issue resolution, and the development of workflows and processes. This position also serves as an interdepartmental liaison to build and maintain cooperation between departments symbiotic to both enrollment process and member satisfaction; maintains quantitative and qualitative performance, inventory reports, and continuously monitors data and operations to ensure compliance with the department's goals and objectives.

Plan and distribute work loads to associates on a daily basis to meet all processing deadlines; accountable for maintaining optimal workflow.

Transcribe, format, input, and edit information and data to create documents or spreadsheets; collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and make recommendations to managers.

Follow organization standards; ensure the effective delivery of high quality service to continue to grow the company membership; identify problems, study standards, examine solution options, evaluate quality outcomes, implement action plans, provide resources to recommend quality policies, and resolve quality issues; utilize tools and processes to optimize productivity and performance.

Education/Experience: BA/BS - Bachelors Degree or equiv. MA/MS - Masters Degree or equivalent preferred. Expert knowledge and experience with enrollment database systems, preferably Facets. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in data mining and extraction of data preferred. Experience in data analysis and written interpretation of findings. Experience in running complex ad hoc” queries via SQL, Crystal or Access preferred. Managed care experience in Government Programs; expert knowledge with government programs as it pertains to enrollment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Access; Facets. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Skilled to communicate with all levels of Management, internal and external customers. Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements.
