As a Print & Marketing Account Executive you will be part of a team responsible for accelerating category growth in the print & promotional product space. You will also be responsible for managing, sourcing and targeting mid to large size businesses, while developing relationships that lead to additional revenue for Staples and commission for you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The PMAE isresponsible for driving approximately $500,000+ in annual sales revenue

  • Represent thebest of Staples Print & Marketing Services in promoting products,services, and commitment to customer satisfaction to support businessretention and expansion

  • Establish,build and expand relationships with existing and potential customers atmultiple levels in the organization

  • Schedule andattend face-to-face presentations with high level decision makers

  • Use a consultativeselling method to identify customer needs and develop a value addedproposition

  • Workcollaboratively with print sourcing to assure accurate, timely, andprofessional delivery of customer's products

  • Implement asales strategy to achieve revenue and margin objectives through newbusiness development and growth of existing accounts

  • Partner withStaples Sales team to sell print services to mid and large sized customers

  • UtilizeStaples CRM system on a consistent daily basis to self-manage selling activity,contacts, deals, strategies, reporting, and communications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’sDegree, or equivalent experience

  • Experience usingtechnology – laptop, smart phone, Outlook

  • Strongcommunication skills; active listener

  • Reliabletransportation, ability to lift and carry 5 pounds and more

  • 3-5 yearsbusiness to business experience in a selling or service environment

  • Strongorganization and time management skills

  • Comfortablewith financial sales tracking and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coachable,able to incorporate feedback

  • Proficiency inPowerPoint, Excel, and using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management tool)

  • Resilient - bouncesback; adaptable - comfortable changing directions

  • Dynamicindividual who functions with a high level of performance, thrives inworking in a very fast paced environment, and enjoys cross channelcollaboration with sales teams and internal support groups

  • Impressiveability to develop, service and manage a portfolio of high volume clients

  • Resultsoriented, driven by both financial and career opportunities

  • Comfortablemaking decisions without all the facts. Positive in nature

  • Previousexperience in commercial print, promotional product, and/or marketingfields are a plus
