Job Description

Our client near Saugerties is looking for an Assembler for their molding department. You will be pulling the product off the mold and working on assembly after that. Molding machines are located at shoulder height so candidate must have good upper body strength as the molds are heavy. Soldering experience is a big plus, but it is not a requirement.

Assembler Job Duties:

  • Follow standard operating procedures and written instructions

  • Operate production equipment; utilize tools to complete assemblies in accordance with operation policies and procedures

  • Communicate with other assemblers, technicians, manager and other department members as necessary

  • Assist with repair work

This is a full time, temp-to-hire position with first shift and second shifts available. position 6am-2:30pm. If you don’t have experience with soldering, our client is willing to train you.

Job Requirements

Assembler Requirements:

  • Strict attention to detail required and documentation of work flows and test results

  • Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills

  • Good upper body strength and be able to lift up to 30 pounds

  • Soldering experience is a preferred but not required
