The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications is looking for a part-time instructor to be a section instructor for ICC 612 Digital Communications Systems (3 credits).

For this term, synchronous sessions will run January 14-March 25, 2019 on Mondays from 9:00-10:45pm.

Course Description: Digital Communications Systems is an introduction to the strategic digital communications systems that allow communications professionals to select audiences, deliver appropriate content over various channels, and capture data to better understand end users. It is an introduction to the digital communications landscape that all communications professionals must navigate. This course is especially useful for marketers, public relations professionals, entrepreneurs, community managers, editors, and publishers who wish to use digital media tools to manage and deliver multiple media to numerous devices.

This course takes a strategic approach to the course content and cover topics including: understanding your audience, content strategy, audience acquisition, internet architecture, developing for mobile, analytics, and the product development process.
