Robert Half International Technical Writer in TARRYTOWN, New York


Working closely with the departmental leaders and Human Resource teams, the Work Process Development Trainer will create and successfully implement robust One Point Lessons, Work Instructions, SOPs, Training documents, and development programs. This includes:

o Work with SMEs (subject matter experts) to determine SOPs and develop relevant work instructions and training plans.

o Collaborate with people throughout the organization to build strong relationships and understanding of their roles, responsibilities and perspectives.

o Gather appropriate input to make decisions.

o Analyze the technical, leadership and team-based skills needed to succeed in roles being evaluated.

o Act as the project manager for specific key initiatives, like creating training content and train the trainer programs.

o Partner with leadership and SMEs to identify needs and opportunities and create a system to track progress.

o Work closely with the ERP team to help ensure documentation and work processes being built have appropriate training documentation and training execution plan.

o Build training documentation with experience completing “Train the Trainer” documents and classwork.

o Comfortable training others both on the floor and in classroom setting

o Ability to understand work processes and develop work instructions.

o Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build positive relationships at all levels.

o Demonstrated maturity in communications, upholding trust and appropriate confidentiality.

o Must be flexible in accepting change and adapting with business needs.

o Hold a sense of personal accountability to drive results.

o Accepting of feedback and open to developing and refining professional skills.

o Strong ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing)

o Rapidly builds trust with fellow employees

o Detail oriented, tech savvy, willingness to continually learn and embrace new approaches
