Job Description Summary:

Provide product processing support by accurately preparing and processing laboratory beverages

Maintain laboratory and inventory of ingredients and supplies

Maintain laboratory equipment and conduct equipment calibrations

Implement and document results from beverage processing studies

Complete analytical evaluations for beverage samples

Support Product Developers and Engineering in conducting bench and pilot scale production runs

Required Job Skills & Years of Experience for Each:

  1. Ability to flawlessly execute bench work, plan ahead for sampling requirements, and

  2. Ability to proactively and positively interface with various analytical and product development functions in order to assure timely execution of testing.

  3. Must be well organized, capture work details and learning and highlight any unexpected results

  4. Good communication skills (verbal and written), manage expectations of group support

  5. Must be proactive, reliable and self-motivated

Outstanding team working skills, strong initiative

Ability to analyze and communicate implications of experimental results

Computer Skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint

TOTAL WORK EXPERIENCE Prior Beverage/Food experiences a plus

CERTIFICATIONS? AS/BS in a scientific field with bench work experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift packages with ingredients and cases with products-up to 50 lbs
