The Team:

The Director, Global Payroll Operations works closely with the regional payroll senior managers in NY, Buenos Aires, London, Singapore and India to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll for 17,000 employees in over 30 countries. The Manager of Global Pay Services is a direct report.

The Impact:

This role will contribute to the business by bringing a strategic view of payroll operations and managing major payroll projects for all regions. This position will guide the projects and do it in a collaborative manner by engaging regional payroll and HR teams.

Responsibilities:

Provides tactical direction and governance of global payroll function. Oversees payroll operations for all regions in an outsourced environment(Alight Solutions, CloudPay and NGA)including vendor management, contract and SLA review, outsourcing governance, issue resolution, and project management.

  • Subject matter expert for Workday Payroll and Time Tracking

  • Ensures operating and regulatory procedures globally with respect to Audit, Privacy, Tax Reporting, and SOX controls are maintained

  • Coordinates the technical aspects of the payroll process including interfaces with payroll and benefits vendors and HR systems

  • Evaluates and analyzes impact of HCM business process and integration changes

  • Coordinates payroll activities for acquisitions and divestitures

  • Applies broad knowledge of payroll, finance, operations, business drivers, related areas and external market to impact business results.

  • Partner and collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Operations and Finance across businesses and regions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years plus experience with global payroll processing in an outsourced payroll environment preferred

  • 5 years plus Workday Payroll experience is a must.

  • Time Tracking and Absence is a plus.

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business or related manner

  • CPP or SPHR is a plus

  • Experience managing virtual teams

  • Outstanding communication, collaborative and presentation skills
